D.O.B. March 3,1972

Occupation:

Secondary school science teacher in Wellington (recently moved from Auckland).

Hobbies:

Fishing, traveling, reading and socialising with friends. Watching most sports and in particular live games where the atmosphere is tense and exciting.

Referee History:

Began refereeing in 1994 because the club where I was playing started to develop a “first team is the only team that matters” mentality.” I wanted to be involved with football at a high level and so recognising his playing skills took up refereeing. Was a participant at the School of Excellence held in 1997 in Manukau.

Influences:

I received a lot of help from John Cameron, Peter Hawes and Derek Lowry in the Waikato. I also went to games at Muir Park to watch top referees and try to pick up any tips and pointers that could help him.

Refereeing Goal:

To become a FIFA Referee. Now that that has been achieved hopefully a FIFA Tournament.

Overseas games:

At OFC Tournaments in American Samoa (U-17), the Cook Islands (U-20) and play off games in New Caledonia (U-17).
